Flexible but fragile, the Chapparal is a great plane for new skyrates who want a fast plane they can make their own. The 'Chappy' was instrumental in linking Skytopia back together after the upheaval. One of the oldest crafts in the sky, but it's still sold for a reason.
The Chapparal, affectionately known as the Chappy, is a light biplane fighter. Flexible but fragile, the Chapparal is a great plane for new Skyrates who want a fast plane they can make on their own. The oldest craft in the sky, but it is still sold for a reason.
Fighting the Chapparal
The Chapparal's a pretty small plane, with some big guns. It can be hard to hit them, especially with unmodded Howitzers. Longarms are especially helpful. Of course, with that big medium gun in its back, it's not really a good idea to approach from the rear unless your arcs are larger. Fortunately, as said in the above section, they don't exactly have much armor. If you can, get them to circle you and fire at their vulnerable sides. You could, of course, rush in at them from the front, as their small arc up there probably won't do much damage. In any case, keep away from that medium gun and keep shooting. Its silhouette may baffle you, but you should eventually manage to shoot them out of the sky.
