A project first announced in 201 AU by G.C. Hoover, head of Hoover Heavy Industries, the Mantis is a dual-wing, dual-engine aircraft designed to be the ultimate upgrade machine. Its development focused on creating a craft that could be modified to be whatever its owner wished. The plane is produced exclusively on Gonk and is sold to whoever can match the somewhat hefty price tag. The first models rolled off assembly lines in 202 AU.[1]
Combat Tips[]
The Mantis is one of the largest performance planes, and certain tweaks (to maneuver and sil) have been made attempting to balance for this. It still has the second highest silhouette of all performance planes and typical performance line armor.
