Mountain AheadEdit

Regarding the ResetProne Template and the NeedsUpdate Category, it may interest you to know that every page that uses the ResetProne Template can be found at Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:ResetProne. Personally, I prefer the gaudy template because it makes it really obvious that the page where it appears is in need of help. Also, for what it's worth, we can automagically force every page currently using the ResetProne Template to be in the NeedsUpdate Category. If you think that'd be helpful, just let me know. --Calvin November t/c on 02:59, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Okay-dokey. Now, pages currently using the ResetProne Template will now be automagically included in the NeedsUpdate Category (assuming I did it correctly :) ). --Calvin November t/c on 22:47, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Math is Hard Edit

Old Versions (2.5) Edit

Something within me rankles at the addition of "(2.3)" and similar titles to denote what version of the game to which the data refers. Perhaps it's that I see the Skybrary as an reference for current data, not as an archive for old data. In the case where some feature in an old version does not correspond with anything in the current version, renaming the page makes some sense, but I'd almost rather just delete the page and recreate it if that feature reappears. Few pages are so content heavy that it would take long to recreate them. Your thoughts? --Calvin November t/c on 06:01, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

I personally agree, but I'm new to the skybrary and I didn't want to start deleting all that old stuff, and I had to get it out of the Needs Update area somehow. Also, I'm trying to make a blog post, check it out if you can :). I have no idea what happens with them honestly...we don't have any.--Kitteh 06:12, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Category:Candidates for deletion Edit

Okay. Got a lot of them done. The ones still on the list all have links pointing to them. Those "incoming" links should be removed/edited/whatever before we delete the targets (to prevent icky Red Links). I'll start working on that as soon as I can. --Calvin November t/c on 19:34, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
